There are 300+ school aged children in Caledon in families who are struggling to make ends meet. These children only dream of starting school with a new backpack like their classmates. Some even dream of a packed lunch. You can help these children start the year on the right foot.

Sponsor a child for $50

Your gift will provide things like schools supplies, emergency prescriptions, crisis counselling and most importantly a full tummy so they can concentrate and learn. You can request to sponsor a boy or girl in grades from JK to grade 12. You can even write a small message of encouragement to your sponsored child for their first day of school and we will be sure to pass the message on.

When parents must work two and sometimes three jobs to keep ahead of bill collectors, we must help out and provide hope – hope for these families and hope for their children. Kidz in Caledon Need You!

"I am a Mom returning to college to be a Personal Support Worker. I have expenses for myself going back to school and for my two kids. I found out that they need two pairs of running shoes each - one indoor and one outdoor for school. I'm having difficulty paying for my school start up costs, now I have to worry about buying 4 pairs of shoes."

How It Works:

2. Write your message to your sponsor child; write a small message of encouragement for their first day of school

When making your donations, please remember that “Kidz in Caledon” is not supported by any level of government and local kids depend solely on your generosity!
