Last summer a single income family with four children, they unexpectedly had to take in their elderly father. With another mouth to feed and medical bills, they did not know where to turn. They came to their community looking for help. Because of you, the family received counselling, food and summer care for their four children who desperately needed to get out of the house.
Because of you, the children were able to enjoy a few weeks of summer fun while their grandfather was able to recover.
A note from Mrs. Costa:
I just want to thank you for helping my children participate in summer camp. It made them very happy and my children showed noticeable improvement in their daily life routine. The little one was always crying every day before school because he didn’t want to go. Now he cried because he loved camp so much and it ended!
