Alison Bing
Alison was born and raised in Mississauga; she has been a resident of Bolton since 2006 when she moved here with her husband. Elected to the CCS Board in September 2009, Alison also enjoys serving on the Gala Committee and the Governance Committee.
Alison is an accredited communicator currently leading the Corporate Affairs function at Canada Dry Mott’s Inc. It is the most fun and interesting job she has had to date! Her career has been focused on providing strategic communications solutions for engaging stakeholders in brand, corporate and internal communications, government relations, and most recently, social media. As an active volunteer, she has also lent her talents to Child Find Ontario, Wellspring and the Run for the Cure.
“I am truly inspired by the work that is done by CCS. I am proud to be part of such a diverse and passionate group of people. Their dedication to making Caledon a better place to live is commendable, and I am honoured to be part of this team.”
If you are looking for Alison in the summer, try a local lacrosse arena, where you will find her with the entire Ward family watching her nephew play. A self-professed news junkie, Alison is an avid reader, and is thankful for the invention of the PVR, which allows her to efficiently watch a significant amount TV and knit at the same time.
