Richard Paterak
Richard Paterak has lived in Caledon for the last 24 years. Richard was elected to Caledon Council in 1997. In 2003 he was elected to serve on both Caledon and Region of Peel Council as a Regional Councillor. During his tenure as a Councillor , he has served on a variety of committees and boards. In 2006 Richard was appointed to the Board of CCS. Prior to his political career Richard produced pottery. He began his post university life working as a youth worker, later working in the field of international development.
Richard is excited to serve on the Board of CCS. “Being on the Board of CCS is an opportunity to reach out to the entire community, both those in need and those who can be of assistance to the community and its members. I feel it is a perfect fit for me.”
