There’s nothing like the thrill of the find at prices that can't be beat. Visit our two eco-friendly retail stores, Chez Thrift or The ReUstore, both conveniently located in Bolton. Chez Thrift accepts donations of gently-used clothing, small household goods, crafts and books. The ReUstore will accept, in working condition, all household goods, appliances, electronics, crafts, furniture, building materials (kitchen cupboards, flooring etc.) and lighting.
At both stores you'll quickly experience the “thrill of the find” and be hooked. Your donations will be enjoyed by others and the stores’ profits will help CCS support seniors, send kids to hockey lessons and provide skills training to those who are unemployed.
If all of this still hasn’t convinced you that these two Caledon gems deserve your support, then how about considering the thousands of pounds of quality goods that they divert annually from landfill sites in and around Caledon? Drop in on them, you’ll be glad you did.
Monty Laskin, CCS Executive Director, points out that the CCS stores are tremendous investments in community building. “The Caledon Community Services stores hit all the right chords. They allow Caledon residents to give back to the community, whether it be in donated goods or donated time. Both are converted into social capital and support Caledon.”
