Danila Maric
As a resident of Caledon since 1989, Danila has been actively volunteering in the community since her sons, now ages 21 and 24, were in elementary school.
Fundraising has always been a passion of hers. Danila has been involved in a multitude of committees and volunteer opportunities which reflect her “community” attitude. She has played a vital role as a member of the CCS At Home Gala Committee for 10 years and volunteered with the CCS Santa Fund for several years making a significant difference in many lives. The Garden Foods Golf Tournament, which just completed its 8th year, is a joy and highlight of Danila's volunteering. She looks forward to this phenomenal event every year!!
Other fundraising events that Danila has been involved with include: Campaign Manager for Ride to Conquer Cancer, Headwaters Hospital Friendship Gardens, Bethell House, Bolton Rotary and Breakfast of Champions, just to name a few. The MS Walk holds a special place in Danila’s heart and she has participated in the Walk for 5 years.
She works part-time at Scotia Bank which fits perfectly since both Danila and Scotia Bank are strong believers of community partnership and fundraising.
On a personal note she enjoys golf, travel, theatre and of course a little "retail therapy" now and then.
