Caledon Homelessness Partnering Strategy

Are you aware that homelessness exists in Caledon?
The CHPS (Caledon Homelessness Partnering Strategy) project has developed a Steering Committee that includes representation from health and social services, faith, business, community and government. By determining gaps, exploring short and long-term solutions, and increasing the awareness of Caledon about homelessness, the CHPS Steering Committee is creating a vision of a sustainable program that addresses the many challenges associated with homelessness prevention in the Caledon community.
Please click here to read A Home in the Hills, a report by one of the CHPS' subcommittees presenting the issue of Caledon-specific homelessness and precarious housing.
For more information regarding CHPS, please contact Michelle Stubbs,
Director of Community and Crisis Support, at 905.584.2300 ext. 211 or mstubbs@ccs4u.org.
